Let me say with this law, the American people won and special interests lost, the American people won, and the special interest lost. We are in a season of substance, this administration began amid a dark time in America. A once-in-a-century pandemic, devastating joblessness, clear threats to democracy and the rule of law, doubts about America’s future, and yet we have not wavered, we have not flinched and we have not given in.
We are delivering results, we did not tear down, we built up, we did not look back we looked forward and today offers further proof that the soul of America is vibrant, the future of America is bright and the promise of America is real and just beginning.
President Biden was right. Once inflation drops, the optimism for the nation’s future will be reflected in his poll numbers. The future looks so much brighter than it did on the day that the President came into the Oval Office.
Democrats have gotten things done. and they have delivered victory after victory for the American people.
The special interests lost as the nation has made historic investments in combatting climate change and healthcare. The largest corporations will take a small first step toward paying their fair share.
The American people won because of President Biden and the Democratic majorities in Congress.
